My name is Heaven Hayes. I am a Senior this year. This is my first year writing for the school newspaper. I don’t have any specific topics I like to write about; I just like topics that can get me engaged around the school and talking to people. I have a lot of siblings and I adore them all, despite all the arguing. I have my mom as my rock; she’s my best friend. I am 18 years old, and I am a model. Modeling what I want to do as a career. I have been doing local shows for 3 years, and I’ve recently traveled to New York and Miami to do shows there. Last year, I was in fashion design club and I was the model coach for the fashion show last year. This year I am Fashion Design Club President and I hold that to a high standard. I’m really excited about that opportunity. I really enjoy School Publications because it helps me stay active around the school and meeting new people. My plans after graduation are to go to college for fashion design and merchandising and I want to to be a traveling model for print and runway.
